Ultrafast ultrasound imaging for children's heart conditions

Who can take part

  • You can be any age, male or female.
  • You either have a congenital heart condition (CHD) or are generally healthy coming for a routine check-up, or have been diagnosed with a small hole in the heart (atrial septal defect or PFO).
  • You must have a French social security number.
  • Your parent or guardian must agree to let you join.
  • You cannot have an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia), a heartbeat motion problem, a pacemaker or defibrillator, a clear space in the heart (anechoic), or an allergy to ultrasound gel.
