Ultrafast brain ultrasound for infants with heart disease

Who can take part

  • Your baby is under 2 years old.
  • Your baby has a congenital heart disease (a heart problem they were born with).
  • Your baby is in the heart intensive care unit at Bordeaux University Hospital.
  • Your baby's soft spot on the top of their head (anterior fontanelle) is still open.
  • Your baby has severe heart failure (cardiac shock) that needs a machine to help their heart pump blood (mechanical circulatory support).
  • You have French social security coverage and agree to the trial.
