Who can take part
- You are 12 to 17 years old.
- You have obesity or overweight, and if you are overweight, you also have a weight-related health issue like prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fatty liver, or sleep apnea.
- Your weight has stayed within about 11 pounds (5 kg) for at least 12 weeks before joining, despite trying diet and exercise.
- You have not been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
- You have gone through puberty (Tanner Stage 2 or higher).
- You have not had any weight-loss surgery (except liposuction or acupuncture more than a year ago).
