Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with high blood pressure (hypertension).
  • You are not currently taking blood pressure medication, or you have taken only one type in the past and stopped it at least 2 weeks ago.
  • You do not have diabetes or high blood sugar.
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or serious heart problem in the last 6 months.
  • You do not have a history of pancreatitis or gallbladder problems, and your triglycerides (a type of fat in your blood) are not very high.
