Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You need surgery for early-stage lung cancer, a limited lung tumor, or a mass in the middle of the chest (mediastinum).
  • Your overall health is good enough for surgery (ASA grade I, II, or III).
  • You have not had chest surgery before and do not have other serious health problems that would make surgery risky.
  • Your BMI is under 30 (not severely obese), and you do not have a bleeding disorder or severe allergies.
