Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 79 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer (stages cIII to cIVa) that can be surgically removed.
  • You are in reasonably good health (ECOG score 0–2) and can tolerate surgery.
  • You have adequate blood cell counts and organ function (kidney, liver, blood clotting).
  • You have not yet started any treatment for this cancer before entering the trial.
  • If you could become pregnant, you agree to use contraception during the study and for 24 months after the last dose of medication.
