Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that is locally advanced (stage cIIB-IVA) and can be removed by surgery.
  • You have not had any cancer treatment yet for this current cancer.
  • You are healthy enough for surgery and have a good performance status (ECOG 0-2).
  • Your blood counts and organ function (kidney, liver, clotting) meet specific lab criteria before starting neoadjuvant chemo.
  • You agree to use effective contraception if you could become pregnant or father a child during the study and for 24 months after the last dose.
