IL-5 CAR-T therapy for eosinophilic leukemia

This phase 1 trial tests a new treatment called IL-5 CAR-T for patients with eosinophilic leukemia that has not responded to or has returned after standard therapy. It uses your own immune cells that are modified to target and kill cancer cells that have a specific marker called CD125.

Who can take part

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have eosinophilic leukemia that has not improved with standard treatments or has come back within 6 months
  • Have at least 50% of your leukemia cells showing a specific target (CD125)
  • Have adequate organ function (liver, heart, and oxygen levels) as determined by blood tests and scans
  • Have an estimated life expectancy of more than 3 months and a good performance status (able to care for yourself)
