Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and generally healthy.
- You have advanced gum disease (Stage III, Grade B) with at least three gum pockets deeper than 5 mm.
- You have at least 16 natural teeth (not counting wisdom teeth).
- You have not had any gum treatment in the last 6 months.
- You have not used mouthwash or oral gels in the last month.
- You have not taken antibiotics in the last 3 months.
