Who can take part

  • You are 12 years old or older.
  • You have a whipworm infection confirmed by a stool test with at least 48 eggs per gram.
  • You are willing to provide two stool samples at the start and again 2-3 weeks after treatment.
  • You agree to be examined by a study doctor before treatment.
  • You have not taken any deworming medication in the last 4 weeks.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and have no major health issues like severe anemia or fever.
