  • You are between 20 and 70 years old
  • You are having planned knee surgery on one leg under spinal anesthesia
  • You are generally healthy (ASA I or II)
  • You do not have serious heart, kidney, or liver problems
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners
  • You are not allergic to the medications used in the study
