If you are staying at the NOVO hospital in Pontoise and have a small IV in place, researchers want to learn more about the germs on it to help prevent infections in the future.

Who can take part
- You are currently staying in a care unit at the NOVO hospital in Pontoise.
- You have a small IV tube (called a peripheral IV) in your arm or hand that has been in place for at least 2 days, but not more than 7 days.
- You are not taking any antibiotics right now.
- You do not have viral hepatitis, HIV, or another condition that could spread infection to others.
- You are able to understand the study and say you agree to join (without any pressure).
