Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have had a first heart attack (STEMI type) treated with a procedure called primary PCI (angioplasty).
- Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is 45% or less after the heart attack.
- You have no allergy to contrast dye used in scans.
- You do not have advanced kidney disease (eGFR less than 30).
- You have not had a prior heart attack or been diagnosed with other heart muscle disease (cardiomyopathy).
