Who can take part
- Your urine protein-to-creatinine ratio (UPCR) must be at least 1 gram per gram during screening.
- You must be taking a stable, maximum dose of an ACE inhibitor or ARB (blood pressure medicines that protect the kidneys) for at least one month.
- Your kidney function (eGFR) must be at least 25 mL/min/1.73m², calculated by a standard formula.
- A kidney biopsy showing FSGS must have been done within the last 5 years, or if earlier, you must have a specific gene mutation linked to FSGS.
- You cannot have a type of FSGS called 'collapsing' FSGS on your last biopsy.
- You cannot have sickle cell disease or uncontrolled diabetes (HbA1c above 8%).
