Who can take part

  • You have had chronic low back pain for at least 3 months
  • Your doctor thinks the pain comes from the small joints in your spine (facet joints)
  • You have no signs of nerve damage or other specific causes like infection or fracture
  • You have not had recent treatments like radiofrequency or steroid injections that could affect the results
  • You are willing to have two small nerve blocks to confirm the source of your pain
