Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and weigh at least 88 pounds (40 kg).
  • You have cystic fibrosis (CF) and a stable respiratory condition for the past month.
  • You have had achromobacter bacteria in your lungs, throat, or nose at least twice in the last 2 years.
  • A recent sample (within 2 months) of your achromobacter must be killed by the study phage cocktail.
  • Your lung function (FEV1) must be at least 40% of normal for your age and size.
  • You must be willing to travel to the University of Pittsburgh or UC San Diego for treatment and visits.
