  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with atrioventricular block (a type of heart block).
  • Your doctor expects you to live more than 1 year.
  • Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is 45% or higher.
  • You have not had a heart procedure like a stent or bypass in the last 30 days.
