This study tests whether walking with a mobile robot (a device that helps move your legs) can improve your walking ability. It is for people who still have trouble walking more than 6 months after a serious burn on their legs.

Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You had a burn that required a skin graft, and at least half of your lower body (legs) was burned.
  • You still have trouble walking (like limping or needing help) more than 6 months after the burn.
  • You can walk at least a short distance without someone physically holding you (you may use a cane or walker).
  • You do not have burns that go all the way to muscle, tendon, or bone (fourth-degree burns).
  • Your height is between 4 feet 7 inches (140 cm) and 5 feet 11 inches (185 cm), and your BMI is under 35.
