Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You must have either normal hearing or a cochlear implant.
  • You must not have a neurological, vascular, or psychiatric condition like dementia, and you must not be taking medications that affect thinking.
  • You must not have a history of language disorders (except those related to hearing loss in cochlear implant users).
  • You must be a native speaker of American English.
