Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You had normal hearing and speech development as a young child.
  • For cochlear implant users: you have used your implant for at least 6 months and understand spoken English words at least half the time.
  • For people without cochlear implants: you have normal hearing thresholds at certain frequencies (test will confirm).
  • You speak North American English fluently and do not have a language or learning disability.
  • You do not have auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder.
