  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a rheumatic disease like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus
  • Your disease has been stable for at least 4 weeks
  • You take only hydroxychloroquine or sulfasalazine (not stronger immune-suppressing drugs)
  • You have not had the shingles vaccine before
