Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with Graves' disease (diffuse toxic goiter).
  • Your thyroid tests are abnormal (high T4 and low TSH).
  • You have not taken antithyroid medication for at least 4 weeks.
  • You have not had radioactive iodine or thyroid surgery in the past.
  • You do not have active thyroid eye disease or other serious eye problems.
