Smart home monitoring for lung flare-ups in CF and bronchiectasis

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have cystic fibrosis (CF) or non-CF bronchiectasis (a lung condition that causes widening of airways).
  • You are being treated at Royal Papworth Hospital.
  • You are starting IV antibiotics for a sudden worsening of your lung symptoms (called an acute pulmonary exacerbation).
  • You are not on long-term oxygen therapy, a breathing machine at home, or a lung transplant waiting list.
