Hip cast for 6 vs 12 weeks after surgery in children with hip dysplasia

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 18 months and 6 years old.
  • Your child is having open reduction surgery (where the surgeon puts the hip joint back in place) along with a pelvic bone cut (osteotomy).
  • Your child has been diagnosed with developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH).
