Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are getting a kidney from a deceased donor or a living donor who is not an identical twin
- You have not had a previous kidney transplant that failed due to rejection or disease within the first year
- You do not have certain infections like hepatitis B, C, or HIV
- You do not have a history of cancer in the last 5 years (except minor skin cancer that was treated)
- You are willing to use effective birth control for 3 months after the study ends
