Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have had heel pain for at least 6 weeks, especially when you take your first steps in the morning or after sitting.
  • An ultrasound has shown your plantar fascia is thicker than normal (more than 4 mm).
  • You haven't had any previous medical treatment for this condition.
  • You agree not to take anti-inflammatory drugs (like ibuprofen or naproxen) during the treatment period.
  • You do not have any active infections, inflammatory diseases, or blood clotting problems, and you are not pregnant.
