Who can take part

  • Your child is in good general health
  • Your child is between 6 and 9 years old
  • Your child is willing and able to cooperate during dental visits
  • Your child has a cavity in a baby molar that hasn't been filled before
  • The cavity goes into the dentin (the layer under enamel) but not too deeply, as shown on an x-ray
  • The tooth is alive, has no pain, and shows no sign of infection
