Who can take part
- You must have a diagnosis of ALS (possible, probable, or definite) from your neurologist.
- You need a caregiver who can help you put on the robotic glove.
- You must have trouble with grip strength or fine motor skills in at least one hand.
- Your affected hand must have at least 3 pounds of grip strength or 1 pound of pinch strength.
- You must have lost at least 3 pounds of grip strength or 1 pound of pinch strength over the past month in that hand.
- You must be on a stable dose of your ALS medications for the last 30 days.
