Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have type 2 diabetes with an A1c level of 9.5% or lower.
- You have had a liver biopsy showing fatty liver with inflammation and scarring (stage 1b or more), or had one in the last 6 months.
- You have had a special ultrasound (FibroScan) that shows significant fat and stiffness in your liver.
- Your weight has been stable (not more than 10% change) for at least 3 months.
- You do not have other liver diseases, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or certain heart conditions within the past 6 months.
