Who can take part
- You are scheduled for a right lobe living donor liver transplant.
- You have high blood pressure in the portal vein (causing esophageal varices, low platelets, fluid in the belly, or confusion).
- Your liver disease is classified as Child-Turcotte-Pugh class B or C.
- You do not have a blood clot in the portal vein or severe kidney, heart, or other organ conditions.
- You are not already taking terlipressin for hepatorenal syndrome.
