Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have colorectal cancer that has spread (metastatic) and cannot be removed with surgery.
- You have not received any cancer medication for your metastatic disease yet.
- If you had chemotherapy before surgery, your cancer must have come back more than 12 months after that treatment ended.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- You are in good enough physical condition to be up and about (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your blood and organ function are within normal ranges.
- You do not have a specific gene profile (MSI-H or dMMR) that would make immunotherapy a better option.
- You are not allergic to any of the study drugs.
- You are not underweight (BMI below 18.5).
