Who can take part

  • You must be 18 to 70 years old.
  • You must have been diagnosed with lupus (SLE) for at least 24 weeks (about 6 months).
  • Your lupus symptoms must be moderately to severely active, as measured by a standard score of 8 or more on the SLEDAI-2K scale.
  • Your lupus medications must be at a steady dose for at least 4 weeks before starting the trial.
  • You should not have a recent serious infection or any uncontrolled medical condition.
