  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have diabetes or are a healthy volunteer.
  • Your nails are healthy (no infections, damage, or discoloration).
  • You are not currently using nail polish, fake nails, or nail products.
  • You have not recently taken any medications with heavy metals.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a serious chronic illness or mental condition.
