  • You are pregnant and planning to give birth at a participating hospital.
  • The hospital is located at either very high altitude (over 3500 meters) or at sea level.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form to participate.
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, or kidney conditions, such as congenital heart disease, chronic lung disease, or severe heart failure.
