Who can take part

  • You are 40 years or older and have Parkinson's disease that started after age 40.
  • Your Parkinson's medication (like levodopa) has worked well for you in the past or now.
  • You can walk without a cane or walker for at least 5 minutes.
  • You have not had freezing episodes where you feel stuck when walking.
  • Your Parkinson's medications have been the same for at least 4 weeks before the study.
  • You do not have any metal implants in your brain or heart, and you are not afraid of enclosed spaces (for MRI scans).
