Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a liver tumor (either starting in the liver or spread from another part of the body).
  • Your doctor has recommended a treatment called radioembolization (tiny radioactive beads are delivered into the liver's blood supply).
  • Your liver tumor(s) are at least 2 centimeters in size.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are not currently taking certain blood pressure medications (ACE inhibitors or ARBs), and you do not have poorly controlled high blood pressure.
  • You have not had a stroke, blood clot, or mini-stroke in the past 6 months and are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
