Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of sinonasal adenoid cystic carcinoma, a type of cancer in the sinuses or nasal cavity.
- Your cancer is at an advanced stage (T3 or T4), or it has spread to nearby lymph nodes (if removable by surgery) or to distant sites (must be stable).
- You are able to provide a fresh tissue sample from your tumor (at least half a centimeter cubed) for research.
- Your overall health is good enough for daily activities (ECOG score 0, 1, or 2).
- You have not had epirubicin or similar chemotherapy before, nor any radiation therapy to the head or neck.
