Who can take part
- Age 18–75 years old
- Confirmed adenoid cystic carcinoma (a type of cancer) in the sinuses that is stage T4a or T4b
- Tumor can be removed by surgery but is considered high-risk (grows into skull base, orbit, or other sensitive areas)
- Good overall health: normal blood counts, liver and kidney function, and heart strength (LVEF ≥50%)
- No prior radiation to the head or neck
- No prior treatment with anthracycline drugs (a type of chemotherapy) at high doses
