Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older and diagnosed with a blood cancer that requires a stem cell transplant from a half-matched donor.
- Your overall health should be good, with a performance score of 0 or 1 (able to do daily activities with little or no help).
- Your kidney and liver function must be within safe limits, as determined by recent blood tests.
- You cannot have an uncontrolled infection or another active cancer that would interfere with the study.
- You must not have severe heart disease, a history of blood clots, or be on blood thinners for clots.
- You cannot have taken romiplostim, similar drugs, or other platelet-raising medications in the last 30 days.
