Who can take part

  • You have a lens disorder (like a dislocated or misshapen lens) along with other eye structure issues such as a very large or small cornea, a cone-shaped cornea, or a missing piece of the iris.
  • You have a past eye injury that has healed, and you may have a cataract, iris damage, or scarring from the injury.
  • You have had cataract surgery with an artificial lens implant, and the lens is in a stable position.
  • You have cataracts along with iris or pupil problems like a misshapen pupil, iris scarring, or extra pupils from past inflammation, injury, or a birth defect.
  • You have cataracts along with back-of-the-eye problems such as a macular hole, scar tissue on the retina, or vitreous gel issues.
  • You are willing to undergo detailed eye imaging tests including ultrasound, a special microscope exam (UBM), and OCT scans.
