Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • This is your first heart device (pacemaker, defibrillator, or CRT) and it was placed in the last year.
  • Your device was implanted at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Cardiology Institute.
  • You are able to attend follow-up visits 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery.
  • You do not have a history of chronic pain conditions (like fibromyalgia) or nerve pain.
  • You are not taking long-term pain medications (like opioids or gabapentin) for other health issues.
