Who can take part
- You are between 60 and 85 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and have not taken any diabetes medication in the last 3 months.
- Your blood sugar control (HbA1c) is between 7.0% and 11.0%, and your fasting blood sugar is 15 mmol/L or lower.
- Your body fat percentage is 25% or higher (if male) or 30% or higher (if female).
- You do not have serious kidney problems, heart disease, or other major health conditions listed in the study.
