DNA vaccine for liver cancer after curative surgery

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) and your tumor tested positive for a marker called GPC3.
  • Your cancer is at an early or moderate stage (BCLC A or B, or CNLC Ib to IIIa).
  • You had successful surgery or ablation to remove the cancer within the past 12 weeks, and a recent scan shows no remaining cancer in the liver or elsewhere.
  • You have good liver function (Child-Pugh score of A or B up to 7) and are in reasonably good health (ECOG score 0 or 1).

Targeted radiation therapy for advanced liver cancer

This trial tests a new way to find and treat liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. First, a special dye (RYZ811) is used to see if your cancer cells have a marker called GPC3. If they do, you may receive a targeted radiation treatment (RYZ801) that seeks out those cells. This trial is for people whose liver cancer has grown despite receiving at least one prior therapy.
