Who can take part

  • You either have diabetes with stomach-emptying symptoms (like nausea, bloating, or feeling full quickly) OR you have no diabetes and no stomach symptoms
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You are not taking certain medications that affect stomach movement (like prokinetics, anticholinergics, or dopamine drugs)
  • You have not had surgery on your stomach or intestines
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant
  • You do not have a neurological condition like Parkinson's disease that affects digestion
