How Lp(a) affects heart and blood vessel health

Lipoprotein DisorderArterial StiffnessEndothelial Dysfunction

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study looks at how a fatty substance in your blood called lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a), might affect the stiffness of your arteries and how well your heart muscle works. It will help us understand if high Lp(a) is connected to early signs of heart disease.

How Lp(a) affects heart stent outcomes

This study looks at a type of fat in your blood called Lp(a) and whether it can help predict how well people do after getting a heart stent (PCI). If you have stable heart disease and are scheduled for a planned stent procedure, joining this study would involve a blood test before the procedure to check your Lp(a) levels.
