  • You are having cataract surgery on both eyes.
  • Each surgery is expected to take less than 30 minutes.
  • You are between 55 and 90 years old.
  • You can understand and sign the consent form.
  • You are not currently using narcotic pain medication or anxiety medication at home.
  • You do not have a history of memory or thinking problems.
