Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had a solid organ transplant (liver, kidney, pancreas, heart, or combination) at least 6 months ago and have a hernia on your belly.
  • Or, you have a complex belly wall problem that cannot be treated with usual methods like mesh or flap surgery.
  • You are able to take care of yourself and are up and about (ECOG score 0 to 2).
  • You are not pregnant and are not on high-dose steroid treatment.
