Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You can legally give consent for the study
- You are eligible at Duke for a related multi-organ transplant approach that uses donated tissue
- You do not have active cancer or a past cancer history that would block transplantation
- If you could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and use two reliable birth-control methods for at least 2 years after the transplant
- You must be medically able to have general anesthesia, and not have ongoing or untreated substance abuse
