Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 30
  • You are scheduled for hand or forearm surgery
  • You do not have any lung disease like asthma or COPD
  • You have not been using strong painkillers (opioids) long-term
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder, nerve disease, or allergy to the anesthetics used
