Who can take part

  • You must have advanced liver cancer (HCC) with a tumor clot in the main portal vein or its first branches (Vp3 or Vp4).
  • You should not have received any prior systemic therapy for liver cancer, like targeted drugs or immunotherapy.
  • Your liver tumor must be at least 7 centimeters across, and you should have at least one measurable tumor that hasn't been treated with radiation.
  • You must be in fairly good health, with a performance status of 0 or 1 (able to carry out daily activities).
  • Your liver and kidney function must meet certain blood test requirements, and your cancer must be at a stage where you're expected to live at least 12 more weeks.
